"For nine years I was part of the music team for the Haven radio broadcast as a member of the vocal quartet, and also as a keyboardist/arranger...I did two solo piano CDs for them

and this was the first. 

 

Some of the pieces were improvised in a single take,

others took two or three takes to tighten up.

The whole project was completed in two days;

it was a wonderful challenge to bring a new musical approach to some of my favorite hymns.....

It also gave me the chance to record an arrangement of

'Christos Anesti', the Greek Orthodox Easter hymn

I played for years accompanying the church choir growing up....."
